Bastrop may extend a development moratorium another six months as it grapples with drainage and stormwater issues.
While some development has continued during the moratorium because of exceptions by the city, the suburb east of Austin is still reviewing the ability of its development, zoning, permitting, subdivision and drainage regulations to handle floods.
